Based in Hereford, England, the company was originally formed in 1981 as Camlock Engineering Ltd and provided a bespoke engineering service to local industry. By the late 1980’s a range of tactical entry equipment had been developed in collaboration with UK Special Forces and Police Teams.

These products, including a range of over 100 different ladders, now account for the bulk of production at the Hereford facility and are supplied to specialist team’s worldwide.

In 2010 the product range was branded as Camlock Tactical Systems, which is now owned by Force Development Services (FDS) in Hereford, UK.

FDS is uniquely positioned to provide a wide spectrum of discreet, innovative and expert consultancy services to specialist government organisations, defence sectors and elements of the security industry.

Camlock Tactical Systems are able to provide a full range of support with all equipment supplied. The company can provide the installation, training and spares support to meet the customer’s needs. Vehicle systems and ladder packs are supported by user/operator handbooks containing information on the correct and safe use of the equipment.
