Camlock Tactical Systems manufacture a range of detent and pip pins that are suitable for a wide variety of uses. The initial design was to support the ladder and vehicle platform product range.
Detent pins feature two ball bearings that secure the pin under pressure, whether being pushed into or pulled from the cavity. They are widely used on the sectional ladder product range.
Pip pins (shown above) feature a spring loaded plunger that retracts the ball bearings under pressure, and are used on the vehicle platforms for increased strength over the smaller detent pin. These can be found securing hardware from a fast rope frame to a ladder turntable.
