Destructive testing is carried out on all existing designs to determine both the initial distortion point of equipment and its catastrophic failure point. The test facility is set up to be repeatable to allow critical data to be determined by desctructive testing to be used in the safety evaluation of in-service equipment.

Camlock have designed the range of Urban Assault Systems (UAS) specifically for Police and Military formations that conduct operations in urban environments. The construction methods of the UAS have been specifically developed to provide strength and durability required by counter terrorist teams.

In order to test and certificate the equipment range, Camlock designed a range of testing procedures that far exceed standards used by other ladder manufacturers, and have been awarded the CE marking.
