The Camlock Reactive Intervention System (C-RIS) is a dedicated self contained vehicle system, based on the world model Ford Ranger 4 x 4 single cab truck. The system is based on the equipment package as used on the armoured intervention
vehicles with most major components being inter-changeable.
The system includes both combination ladders, a forward bridging system, aircraft gantry and ladder turntable offering 360 degrees of potential deployment. The equipment package allows both immediate action and deliberate option capabilities with the added advantage of totally discreet vehicle movement.
The package can be specified with either a canvas cover or fibreglass hardtop and a hydraulically operated forward bridge is available as a cost option.

The four-door Camlock Reactive Intervention System (C-RIS) provides a fully equipped package capable of achieving
targets ranging from commercial aircraft, buses, trains and buildings. The system can be transported on the base vehicle complete with four operators eliminating the need for secondary support vehicles.
The system is cost effective by reducing set-up costs. The system’s main advantage is that it can be easily removed allowing the vehicle to be used for other duties.
The ladder, gantry system and ladder turntable are inter-changeable with the equipment package supplied with the two door C-RIS and armoured intervention vehicles.
